Nepal Festival 2010 is an all-day event being jointly organised by NRN Australia, the Nepalese Embassy, Canberra and the Nepalese Community Associations in NSW & Victoria. Nepal Festival 2010 is part of NRN Australia’s objectives to promote Nepal and Nepali cultural heritage in Australia.

After the successful launch of the Nepal Festival 2006 in Darling Harbour (Sydney) and Nepal Festival 2008 in Melbourne and Sydney, the event is being organised again in Sydney and Melbourne in 2010. Nepal Festival 2008 in Sydney was attended by 20,000 plus people and Nepal Festival 2008 in Melbourne was attended by 10,000 plus people.

Nepal Festival 2010 is going to be held in Darling Harbor - Sydney on 4th September, West End Park - Brisbane on 11th September and Federation Square - Melbourne on 20th November 2010 with the slogan of "Bringing Nepal at Your Doorstep". After the success of Nepal Festival 2006 in Sydney and Nepal Festival 2008 in Melbourne and Sydney, the event is being organised again in Sydney and Melbourne in 2010 to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Nepal and Australia. This event is being jointly organised by Non-Resident Nepali Association Australia and Embassy of Nepal, Canberra in conjunction with Nepalese Consulate Offices NSW/Victoria and Nepalese Community organisations in Australia. The Nepal Festival has been organised in every two years since 2006 as part of NRN Australia mega event to built brotherhood relationship among Nepalese people living in Australia, promote Nepal and Nepali cultural heritage in Australia.

The flavour of the events are a formal program to mark 50th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Nepal and Australia, Nepal as a tourism destination for year 2011, Nepalese Food Festival, Nepal expo, musical concert, business information and other NRN activities.
